guest operating system is not supported的解决办法

我们在从一个服务器上把 vmware虚拟机复制到另一台服务器的时候，在打开时，可能会出现类似如下的错误：

Guest operating system ‘fedora’ is not supported.

Guest operating system ‘fedora’ is not supported.Please select a guest operating system from the General page on the Options tab of Virtual Machine Settings.

大致意思为Fedora不能被支持，请在设置 里的General page选项标签选择合适的操作系统，这由可能是服务器系统环境不同，vmware版本不同等原因，在另一台服务器上不能很好的识别vmware中虚拟机的操作系统而提示的， 我就遇到一个将一个linux虚拟机复制到另一台服务器上，出现这个错误，从选项中设置，看到虚拟机的操作系统别识别成了other，我改成linux后，启动正常。
